Welcome to the 2023 Annual VL Summit
Navigating Uncertainty
Look forward to exciting keynote speakers and panel discussions
The programme will feature keynote speakers from both Denmark and abroad who will focus on the sub themes of “Navigating Uncertainty”. Furthermore, highly topical panel discussions will be moderated by business journalist Charlotte Beder.
Be ready for an engaging and compelling afternoon
The afternoon will focus on specific and topical business cases, and participants will work actively with the “Uncertainty”-dilemmas that emerge.
The theme “Navigating Uncertainty” reflects the uncertain world our companies and our members currently find themselves in the midst of. It is a theme in constant motion because current and upcoming events will continue to shape the ever-changing circumstances that companies and leaders attempt to navigate through.
With valued guidance from a highly competent Advisory Board, specific sub themes have been narrowed down. The goal is to keep the sub themes relevant for leaders from both the Eastern and Western part of Denmark as well as for both SMEs and big global corporations. This will also be reflected in the speakers and specific cases on the day of The Summit, and the program is already taking shape. Several speakers have already been confirmed, and they will all be physically present at the Summit. See more below!
The Annual Summit always revolves around a business-oriented leadership perspective, also when we dive into how companies and their CEOs navigate through topics such as:
• The challenges for companies affected by the current geopolitical and global uncertainty as well as the shift in global power emerging from the war in Europe and the current US/China relationship.
•The roaring inflation – how do you as a company navigate through this scenario, and what significance do price increases have for company as well as customers?
• Higher demands for a leaner organization, especially for SMEs. It is becoming a question of survival!
• Recruitment and retention of employees. Even though overall growth is lower, certain industries continue to see labour shortage.
• The ongoing and two-sided challenge between digital transition and green transition.
• Besides the above-mentioned topics, a substantial number of VL’s members are highlighting the possibilities that might exist in the current world crisis – thus, the VL Summit will also focus on how business leaders can seize “the transformation and upside of uncertainty”.
